Cylinders use rod seals, piston seals, wipers and guides — one failure often causes a full leak.
Rod seals hold pressure at the rod; NBR or PU are common for hydraulic oil.
Piston seals separate chambers; PU handles load and abrasion better than soft rubber.
Wipers keep dust out — critical on construction and mining machines.
If OEM parts are discontinued, we copy from a sample.
Share pressure, diameters and fluid — we will propose a kit.
Hydraulics seal by lip and clearance. Without rod, bore and pressure, “a cuff like the photo” is guesswork.
Rod and piston profiles differ. A wiper is mandatory in dust but is not the rod seal.
NBR Shore A 80–90 is a common start on mobile plant. Hot or synthetic oil may need FKM.
Repair scored chrome before fitting rubber, or the new lip fails in a shift.
