On sites and in utilities, seals live in water, heat-transfer fluid and weather. Workshop NBR on a drinking-water flange is a common error.
Water and sewage: flange gaskets, well rings, pump cuffs. EPDM is the base. Thickness follows the flange standard, not “thicker until it stops dripping”.
District heat: water temperature sets the mix. Steam is a different case. Valve seats need the right profile, not only a round ring.
Gate valves: packing and stem rings wear from sand in water. Replace as a set and check the stem. A bent stem kills any new kit.
Facades and doors: extruded EPDM with UV resistance, fitted to the profile groove — not cut from sheet by eye.
Tashkent district delivery is agreed after the batch is ready. Plan sample approval plus 3–5 business days, not a blanket 48-hour promise.
