Import substitution of rubber products is a pressing task for Uzbekistan's industrial enterprises. Rising prices, long lead times and logistics instability make import dependency risky.
Step one — analyze current seals. Determine: material (usually marked), dimensions (measure with calipers), working conditions (temperature, pressure, medium). Part numbers simplify the task.
Step two — select equivalent material. Russian or Chinese NBR properties match European. Viton from Shin-Etsu or Dupont is identical. The key is raw material grade, not the product's country of origin.
Step three — manufacture a test batch. We recommend ordering 5-10 pieces for real-condition testing to verify compatibility without risk.
Typical replacement cases: Alfa Laval heat exchanger gaskets — replaced with our EPDM/NBR. Parker hydraulic seals — replaced by part number. Freudenberg oil seals — full analog by sample.
Savings depend on quantity and tooling; compare against downtime and freight, not only the catalogue unit price. After approval a batch is typically 3–5 business days instead of weeks of import wait.
At REZINA.UZ we've replaced 500+ import positions. Bring a sample or part number — free analog selection and test batch manufacturing.
An analog is matching fit and medium, not colour and a millimetre by eye. A non-standard groove will not take a catalogue O-ring.
Shore A is copied separately from the polymer. OEM NBR 90 replaced by NBR 70 will extrude under pressure.
The first batch is a leak check on duty, not only a bench measurement.
Send the OEM part or number, medium and pressure. We will say whether a sample repeat is enough or a mold is required.
