Most orders arrive without a perfect drawing: a worn part, a photo, a sketch. That can be enough if the data are complete.
Drawings (PDF, DWG, dimensioned JPEG) should show ID, OD, sections, radii and hardness if specified. Untoleranced sizes get a process tolerance agreed before launch.
A physical sample is best when lips are worn and the catalogue is silent. We measure and reconstruct the profile. Ship it or bring it to Tashkent.
A photo with a ruler works for simple rings and flat gaskets if the scale is in plane and thickness is visible. Multi-lip cuffs almost never quote from a photo alone.
What is most often missing: medium, temperature, pressure, motion. Without that the compound is a guess.
If serial geometry needs a new mold, tooling is usually 10–14 days, then the batch. With an existing mold, production is typically 3–5 business days after approval.
We do not launch a series from a vague photo when the profile can be confused. Then we ask for a sample.
